I brought the scrap wood pieces over to the table saw to cut them to size. The two different sizes of boards would be attached perpendicular to each other. I figured this size would be on the smaller side (less clunky) and perfect for small kids’ books. To create the book ends, I needed to cut out four pieces – 2 pieces of 4.5”x4.5” and 2 pieces of 4.5”x5.25”.
